Topics explored included (re)discovering interests, strengths, and deepest motivations, and applying psychology to achieve career and business success. While I no longer facilitate these workshops myself, I’m happy to connect you with other facilitators who can offer support.
Play Your Way to Clarity
Participants began by reflecting on how they had played in the past and how they spent their free time in the present, noticing patterns that revealed their personality, interests, and strengths—patterns that guided them toward more meaningful career direction.
Who attended: Professional development groups, workforce development programs, and nonprofits.
Be Your Own Boss
For participants ready to start a business but unsure where to begin, the session explored three common psychological pitfalls and helped them understand how to build a business aligned with their motivations and strengths—one that was both fulfilling and profitable.
Who attended: Aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, and workforce development programs.
Self-Compassion is the New Fashion
Participants explored the roots of workplace stress and anxiety—often showing up as disinterest, withdrawal, or reduced work quality. Through the workshop, they gained insight into the unmet needs driving the stress and learned to respond with more self-compassion.
Who attended: Professional associations, mental health organizations
✧ Career and Workforce Development
The Challenge:
Many workforce development programs excelled at job search workshops because they could be delivered as one-off sessions. However, providing successful career direction programs was more difficult, as self-discovery is a longer process rarely resolved through typical assessments. Some programs were unable to offer this due to funding, staffing, and time constraints.
The Solution:
The Inner Compass Process—a distinctive curriculum that harnessed childhood memories to clarify career direction—addressed this challenge. The program was delivered as workshops or training sessions, complementing existing offerings and helping participants clarify their next career steps.
This curriculum is still available through licensed coaches trained in the Inner Compass approach.
The 3 Parts of the
Inner Compass Process: Rediscover | Research | Roadmap
Part 1: Rediscover
Participants reflected on childhood stories to identify what had energized them, held them back, and brought fulfillment, creating a framework to guide them toward their ideal job.
Part 2: Research
Participants identified the changes they wanted to make, whether changing jobs, pursuing a new career, or starting a business, and learned strategies to grow their networks, access the hidden job market, and align their career moves with their needs.
Part 3: Roadmap
Participants developed a roadmap of next steps, identifying realistic goals, strategies to achieve them, and tactics to navigate potential obstacles, helping them move forward with confidence.

What Past Participants Said
"I would recommend Danielle as a presenter, facilitator and educator for any group or business environment."
Danielle gave a presentation for my Women of Denver networking group. Her facilitation skills are exemplary. She was able to engage the crowd with power, while creating a safe environment that encouraged conversation. When the group began to move off topic, she skillfully pulled us back on target to complete the presentation. I would recommend Danielle as a presenter, facilitator and educator for any group or business environment.

"Danielle and Keith were both dynamic and responsive speakers and let their expertise shine through."
Danielle Menditch Roessle, founder of Inner Compass Coach and Keith Bailey, Co-Founder of Articulated Intelligence, presented to our 905 Group "Professionals in Transition" career networking group on a volunteer pay-it-forward basis. Part of Danielle's and Keith's presentation was formal and well received and part was more of an informal question and answer session. They were both dynamic and responsive speakers and let their expertise shine through. They both took the time to assist each member as it was needed. Job transition can be rough for many and Danielle and Keith were sensitive to this and also provided pertinent (if not spectacular) visual materials to support and add value to the session. We thank Danielle and Keith for donating their time and would love to have back soon, as we feel the 905 Group can learn from her insights into career transition and the ever changing job market as it pertains to job seekers.
